You know those times when you feel like you need some design inspiration, that if you could just find a photo to strike your fancy you could get your classic style juices flowing?? Well, today's feature is going to provide you with a site that you can always count on to do that, it's a about a lovely blog called Blue And White Home. On the site Elizabeth (and at times her teenage daughter who does guest posts-she also is the artist behind the sites ginger jar logo-so lovely!) covers some of the most absolutely stunning timeless homes and their impressive designers & architects. Elizabeth is a great source to turn to for finding any lead on any classic style home you might be looking for, trust me if there is a gorgeous house out there, she's gonna find it! Whether it be an interior designer, an architect, where to source items in order to "get the look" or general room inspiration, you're sure to be wowed.
I've often gone to her blog and sat there saying "oh wow, I love that!" or "oh my goodness another fabulous designer to add to my favourites list!". And I can't even count the times that I have pinned something or come across a designer online that I adore, only to then find out that Elizabeth had also pinned the same thing or that she had featured the exact home and/or designer on her site. It's such a treat, to find someone who you know you can always count on for spot-on design selections that you adore, and I think you'll feel the same:)
Here are some of my most recent favourite features from her site.
This island is a piece of art and literally the centre of attention! The detail is exquisite.
This bedroom is just dreamy, love the colour pallet.
Look familiar? This nursery was featured on my favourite children's rooms list (Elizabeth you know me so well:)) So perfect in every way.
A perfect nook, love the chair covers, gingham & pleats together-be still my heart!
Sarah Bartholomew is one of my all time favourite interior designers-again another great feature by Elizabeth! Just look at those chair covers again-it's just too good!
Love this colour and the simplicity of the millwork.
This just might be one of my new "dream home" exteriors:)
